A key member of a terrorist group wanted in Germany for 30 years was arrested, even changing his name and pretending to be someone else, he was not found by the police, but by an investigative reporter.

They say they solved something even the police couldn’t do, in 30 minutes and for 30 dollars.

This is Reporter Mab Ryung from Paris.

The Red Army Faction was notorious as a terrorist group, having murdered around 30 German political and industrial figures in the 1970s.

A key member of the group, Daniela Clete, aged 65, was arrested by the German police after being wanted for 30 years.

Clete is accused of being involved in at least 10 armed attacks, including a gun attack on the US Embassy and a prison bombing.

However, it was not the German police but a Canadian investigative journalist who found Clete.

A reporter who received a request from crime podcast hosts tracked down Clete in 30 minutes using a commercially available facial recognition program.

I tried this facial recognition program that costs $30 a month.

I put Clete’s mugshot from 30 years ago, and it compares the face of public photos on Internet sites and YouTube videos to find the most recent photo.

He was a much older person with a different name, but when I traced him to the SNS source that was displayed, it was Clete, who lived under an alias.

The police received a tip and arrested Clete, and anti-tank weapons, grenades, machine guns and ammunition were found in his home.

“As a result of the investigation, we concluded that the woman who was the subject of the tip was in fact one of three former members of the Royal Air Force who were wanted for various robberies and attempted murder.”

However, it is not clear whether the police will be able to carry out investigations in this way directly in the future.

This is because there is a risk of breaching the Personal Information Protection Act.

In Europe, we are facing another concern and debate about how humanity should use new technology.
