The iPhone 15 series is coming this fall. But that’s not the point, because the latest renders of the iPhone 16 Pro Max have been released for the first time. It is expected that this model will be launched during autumn 2024.
However, in the last year it has been rumored that this year will be the last year that Apple will use the Pro Max name and it is likely that the best model in the series next year will be the iPhone 16 Ultra which will be marketed instead. iPhone 15 Pro Max
The CAD renderings put the iPhone 15 Pro Max and the iPhone 16 Pro Max / Ultra side by side, showing that next year’s top model will have a 6.9-inch display. The 16 Ultra will have a screen size of 77.2mm wide, up from the iPhone 15 Pro Max, which is 76.7mm wide.
The iPhone 15 Pro Max will have a length of around 159.8 mm, while the next model will increase to 165 mm, while the iPhone 16 Pro itself is expected to be larger compared to the iPhone 15 Pro and it’ there will likely be a periscope camera as well.
On the other hand, with the iPhone 15 Pro Max presumably having a periscope camera, there’s no clear reason why the iPhone 16 Pro Max/Ultra would be bigger. that has to wait and see
