iPhone 16 Pro Max Charging Test Results Reveal 30W Speed
As Chinese smartphones continue to push the boundaries of fast charging, Apple’s latest iPhone 16 Pro Max seems to be lagging behind in terms of charging speed.
Contrary to previous rumors suggesting that the iPhone 16 series could support wired charging with a power increase from 29W to 45W, recent testing results have revealed a different story.
A charging test conducted by ChargerLab on the iPhone 16 Pro Max has shown that the device still supports charging at the same power as before, with a maximum power of 30W.
The test, which involved using 14 different Apple chargers, found that only chargers with power between 35W and 140W were able to charge the iPhone 16 Pro Max at its maximum power, with the exception of a single 87W charger that charged the device at 25.18W.
