“Iraq is not fine, father.” Raghad Saddam Hussein publishes pages from her father’s diaries in his handwriting (details)

Raghad Saddam Hussein, daughter of the late President Saddam Hussein, decided to publish pages from her father’s diaries that he wrote in prison in the years between 2003 and 2006.

Through her official account on the “X” blogging site, Raghad said: “Happy New Year to the Arab nation, the nation that has always been the most important in your struggle, but the nation is not fine and Iraq is not fine, father. Nations have fought against it, but I promised you that it would be #Iraq I will be fine, God willing.

She continued: “Today I decided to start publishing a small part of your memoirs in my own way, because publishing houses have warnings against publishing them, and today will be important for many of your fans and even others. To them we dedicate your private memoirs that you wrote while you were in American detention in Iraq. To you, my father, all reverence and appreciation, O intrepid hero, to the gardens of eternity, O high knowledge.

She said that the first thing that will be published from her father’s memoirs is a small part of it that includes 40 pages, saying: “Attached are 40 pictures (a very small part) of the memoirs of my father, the martyr president. #Saddam_Hussein In captivity.

The first thing that came in Saddam Hussein’s memoirs, according to the papers published by Raghad, was a handwritten note of a vision he had seen in a dream, about which he said: “On May 15, 2004, on the verge of morning prayer, I saw in a dream that I was meeting with Iraqis, and before the meeting I felt as if I was inside my pants. A bundle of cloth, and a whole pair of pajamas inside it fell out.”

Saddam Hussein explained that vision at the time by saying that he was exposed to a health crisis, and this is what actually happened, so he said in the rest of the published memoir papers: “All of this vision is the possibility that I will be admitted to a hospital or that I may have an operation and that something harmful or distressing will be extracted from my body… Isn’t that how they interpret dreams?” He continued, saying: “Indeed, it has been detected that there are stones in the gallbladder that have descended into the bile duct, threatening the liver and disrupting the functioning of the stomach, and it is necessary for surgical intervention.”
