Voluntary recall of approximately 8.6 million iris foods “natural water from Mt. Fuji”

Iris Ohyama’s group company “Iris Foods”, a major household goods company, announced that it will voluntarily recall about 8.6 million bottles of “natural water from Mt. Fuji”, alleging that it contains mold.

Voluntary collection is about 500 ml of “Mt. Fuji’s natural water” sold from June to last month and 500 ml of “The Price natural water” manufactured on the same line as the 2 liter product. It is 8.6 million.

When a business partner company requested that foreign matter be mixed in and inspected it, it was found that mold was mixed in. No health hazards have been confirmed at this time, and it is said that “even if you drink it, there is little risk of health hazards.”

Iris Foods says, “We will strive to strengthen our quality control system to prevent recurrence.”
