“At least 10 places recaptured by Ukraine show signs of war crimes”… Police: “I hear my neighbors screaming every day”
(Seoul = Yonhap News) Reporter Jinsong Oh = In a village in Ukraine, a pile of gold teeth, believed to have been pulled out by Russian soldiers while torturing Ukrainians, was found in the British Daily The Times on the 5th (time local).
According to reports, a torture chamber used by the Russian army to interrogate residents, soldiers and prisoners of war has been discovered in the village of Piski-Radikiuski in the northeastern province of Kharkiv.
From the torture chamber, a plastic barrel filled with gold teeth was found.
Pissky-Radikiussky is an area about an hour away by car from Igeum, where about 440 bodies were buried.
Ukrainian police say they have found traces of war crimes in at least 10 Russian-occupied territories that Ukraine has recently recaptured.
Police said they found wires, ropes, adult items, gas masks and pieces of burnt cloth in the torture chamber.
“Neighbors said they always hear screams here,” said Serhi Volbinou, head of the Kharkiv Police Department’s Investigation Department, in a Facebook post. “I know they tortured him in a suffocating way,” he said.
