Mei is a calico cat and is estimated to be 6 months old. She has an active and tsundere personality. She loves to play and is always running around the house full of energy. When the video that went viral was filmed, he was absorbed in playing alone.

“Before I knew it, he was playing with a toy he put inside an empty cardboard box.It was a fairly light toy, so as he kept picking it up and playing with it with his feet, it seemed to tickle his hunting instincts. His movements escalated and he was playing violently. After about 10 minutes, the cardboard was full of holes from his nails.”

The toy they were playing with was Mei’s favorite. He has other toys, but he especially plays with them a lot.

“It’s a mouse-shaped toy. It has a bell inside, and people seem to love the tinkling sound, so I bought two of them. I’ve tried various other toys, but this one seems to be my favorite. Both fell apart to the point where the cotton inside was coming out.”
