Is the once king now just a comedy piece?

One of the greatest players India has ever seen in Test cricket, the greatest captain in Indian Test history, India’s strength in the Fab Four. That was Virat Kohli.

Kohli was the king not only in Tests but also in all formats of cricket. The runs he scored for India and the records he set in his own name are innumerable.

Kohli was described as Sachin’s successor and the star who has the potential to break Sachin’s hundred century record. But all the performances he has done in the past are now turning back on Virat himself.

Kohli is not even a shadow of his performance in his prime. The star is yet to score a century after 2019. Analyzing the stats after 2020, the player has been performing poorly, starting at the bottom of the Fab Four.

The player’s name was also noted as having a lower batting average than Trent Boult, the New Zealander who came out as eleventh in the latest test.

Now, Bairstow has to be sledged and embarrassed in the England-India Test match. Bairstow, who was playing at a strike rate of 21 before the sledging, changed course after Virat’s dismissal and scored a century at a strike rate of 150.

If Bairstow continues the way he has been playing for so long, India might even push England into the follow-on.

Bearstock is powered by Virat’s tongue. With this, all the legendary stars took Virat in the air. West Indies legend Ian Bishop and Indian superstar Virender Sehwag criticized Kohli.

Finally, Bairstow returned the catch to Virat’s hands. The actor did not forget to give Bairstok a flying kiss before walking to the pavilion.

If they had concentrated on batting instead of showing mass like this, perhaps the Indian team would have got the old Virat back.

In the second innings as well, the player got out without making any significant movement. Kohli got out with 20 runs from 40 balls.

The fact that the once king is now nothing is hurting the fans. They are still hoping that King Kohli will come back. All they can do is hope, Virat is the only one to play.
