ISL 2021-22: Will the wait end? East Bengal won the toss and elected to bat first

Vasco da Gama: SC East Bengal will go down today for their first win in ISL (ISL 2021-22). The rivals are defending champions Mumbai City FC. The match will be played in Goa at 7.30 pm. East Bengal, the only team to not win a single game this season, are bottom of the league with five points. Mumbai are second with 16 points. In the last match, East Bengal drew 1-0 with Bengaluru FC.

The bottom line is drama

Jamshedpur FC won a thrilling match in the ISL yesterday. Jamshedpur beat North East United by three goals to two. Jamshedpur FC won the toss and elected to field.

North East started the scoring in the fourth minute through Dashon Brown. Jamshedpur took the lead in the 44th minute when Jordan Murray and Boris Singh scored in the 56th minute. 90 minutes later, Jamshedpur were leading by two goals to one. But in the first minute of injury time, Brown scored his second goal to put the Highlanders ahead.

Ishaan Pandit again!

The drama did not end there. Within two minutes, Ishan Pandit of Jamshedpur scored the winning goal. With the fourth win, Jamshedpur jumped to third place with 16 points. North East is in 10th place with eight points. With the victory of Jamshedpur, Kerala Blasters came in fifth with 14 points.
