The statements of the artist Mirhan Hussein’s father regarding the incident of the theft of her apartment in Mokattam revealed many surprises during the investigations, as it became clear from her father’s statements that ceramic installation workers were behind the incident.

Mirhan Hussein’s father said during the investigations that what specifically happened was that he resides in plot 7175, Area S, in Mokattam and owns an apartment on the second floor. He had contacted a contractor and sent him three workers to install ceramic tiles in the apartment, and that the apartment belonged to his daughter, Mirhan Hussein, and his son lived on the ground floor, and they were going to install Ceramics for her.

Mirhan Hussein’s father continued during the investigations, they were supposed to install ceramic tiles instead of the installed ceramic ones, and this was on 2/7/2024 and they started a job and I was letting them stay overnight so that they could stay at work and I was leaving the door key with the doorman so that the three of them would open it if they went out and on 2/2/2024/ 15 I traveled to Dubai, and when I returned on February 17, 11:30 in the evening, and I went home, I found my son who lives on the ground floor telling me that some boots had been stolen from him.

Mirhan Hussein’s father added, “My son told me that no one entered or left the apartment except the three workers whose names are Ahmed A. S., Muhammad M. M., and Jamal A. At that time, I went out to the apartment on the second floor to confirm what was in the apartment in which they were building until they had finished.” Installing ceramic tiles in my son’s apartment on the ground floor, and installing ceramic tiles in this same apartment. The police report regarding the theft of Mirhan Hussein’s apartment stated, “Regarding what was reported to the Mokattam police station by the so-called Hussein Muhammad Hussein Bassiouni, 70 years old, a freelance civil engineer and resident of Lot No. 7175, Mokattam, that he discovered the theft of some other public items belonging to his daughter from inside her under-finished residence on the first floor of the same property where he resides.” The Public Prosecution’s permission was obtained to arrest and bring the accused, Ahmed Ayman S.A., resident of Kafr El-Sheikh Selim, West Tanta Center, and the accused, M.M.A., resident of Kafr El-Sheikh Selim, West Tanta Center.

Several fixed and mobile ambushes were set up, which resulted in their arrest. It turned out that the first was called Ahmed A. A., 26 years old, a builder and resident of the Western Tanta Center, and the second was Muhammad M. M. A., 16 years old, a builder and resident of the Western Tanta Center. When they were confronted, they admitted to committing the incident and hid the stolen items with a friend of the first, called Mahmoud. M. A. Ali, 24 years old, an electrician and resident of Kafr El-Sheikh Selim, Tanta Gharbia Center, is a bad faith agent.

The third accused was arrested in connection with the theft of Mirhan Hussein, and he was in possession of the marketers and their guides, which consisted of 4 watches of different shapes and brands, 8 gold rings, 2 gold earrings, 2 collars, 1 gold chain, 2 bracelets, the seized items and the return to the department office, as well as his bag. It contained some belongings, personal tools, and shoes belonging to the whistleblower, and accordingly, the accused were taken into custody.

The whistleblower, Hussein Muhammad Hussein Bassyouni, was summoned and some of the items seized were on his person. He identified them and decided that they were the whistleblower in the report. A pledge was taken from him to go to the prosecution this morning and he was expected to do so. The gold jewelry was seized, delivered by the previous person, as well as 4 watches of different shapes and brands seized, under the guidance of the accused.
