The attack follows rising tensions related to Iran’s rapidly developing ‍nuclear ⁤program. Iran quickly retaliated, launching drones toward Israel, while Supreme leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei ⁢threatened “severe⁤ punishment.”

Global leaders are calling for de-escalation ‍as countries in the region condemn Israel’s actions.
