Tensions between Israel and Iran have reached a boiling point following a series of strikes and retaliatory attacks. The conflict, wich escalated on June 13, has raised concerns about regional stability and Iran’s rapidly advancing nuclear program.

Initial reports from Iranian state television ⁤indicated that Israel targeted the Natanz nuclear facility. Iranian ⁤Foreign minister Abbas Araqchi ⁣wrote on X, “If [US President Donald] Trump is genuine about diplomacy and interested in stopping‍ this war, next steps are consequential.Israel must halt its aggression, and absent a total cessation of military aggression against us, ⁣our responses will continue. It takes one phone call from‍ Washington to muzzle someone like Netanyahu.”

Trump responded on Truth Social, stating that ⁤the⁣ US knew Khamenei’s location but would not target him “at least not for now,”⁤ followed by a post demanding “UNCONDITIONAL SURRENDER!”
