“Israeli missile strikes Iran”… “Explosion sounds from area with nuclear facilities”

Foreign media outlets reported that a missile launched by Israel hit Iran’s Isfahan region, where Iran’s air force base and facilities related to its nuclear program are located.

On the night of the 18th, local time, the US ABC broadcast quoted a US official as saying, ‘Israeli missiles hit an area in Iran.’

In this regard, an Iranian news agency reported that an explosion was heard at the airport in the Iranian city of Isfahan.

However, the news agency did not reveal the cause of the explosion.

Iran’s nuclear facilities, including uranium enrichment facilities, are located in the Isfahan area.

Additionally, several commercial airliners were being diverted from their routes, CNN reported.

Previously, Iran launched a large-scale attack on Israel from the night of the 13th to the 14th by sending about 300 drones and missiles.

Iran said the attack was retaliation for Israel’s bombing of the Iranian consulate in Syria, which killed several Iranian officers.

Israel has also repeatedly pledged to retaliate against Iran’s large-scale airstrikes.

As the military conflict between Israel and Iran appears to be intensifying, tensions in the Middle East continue to rise.
