Meanwhile, 154 people (98 women, 56 men) were killed in the Itaewon disaster which took place on the night of the 29th. As of 8:40pm on the 30th, the Supreme Prosecutor’s Office completed autopsies on 122 of the 154 victims. Of these, 84 were handed over to their families. Of the personnel who have had an autopsy, 38 will be transferred as soon as the identification and family members have been verified. The prosecution prompted 15 prosecutors’ offices for the autopsy.
