The match began with Al-Khaliz taking the lead in the fifth minute, courtesy of Khaled Nari’s goal. However, Al-Ittihad’s Karim Benzema equalized in the 49th minute, paving the way for a comeback.
Hawsem Ouar scored the second goal for Al-Ittihad in the 56th minute, followed by Steve Bergwein’s third goal in the 68th minute. Hamid Al-Ghamdi sealed the victory with a fourth goal in the fifth minute of second-half stoppage time.
