[오토트리뷴=전재훈 기자] A scene in which Lee Cheon-soo, a former soccer player, got into an argument with some citizens while campaigning in support of People Power Party candidate Won Hee-ryong is causing controversy. In particular, Mr. Lee Cheon-soo appeared to be angry or irritated with citizens.

According to a video released to the community, Lee got into an argument with a citizen while helping candidate Won Hee-ryong campaign for Gyeyang on the 31st. While Mr. Lee was speaking, a man complained that he was noisy, and Mr. Cheon-su Lee responded, “Your father is louder.”
He then said, “Don’t do that. I can also talk about it. He reacted somewhat angrily, saying, “I am speaking legitimately.” He also made an absurd statement that seemed to blame the voters, saying, “It’s because of my father that there has been no development in Gyeyang for 25 years.”
This wasn’t the only thing. During an evening campaign rally, a woman pointed her finger at candidates Won Hee-ryong and Lee Cheon-soo and said, “Mother, don’t do that. “Did Lee Jae-myung order this?” she responded.

As scenes like this spread through YouTube and communities, criticism of Lee Cheon-soo increased. This is especially because Mr. Lee was also famous for his foul language and various controversies during his time as a player. Some netizens responded with things like, ‘Won Hee-ryong also has a straight face’ and ‘Don’t you think about your days as a player?’
Candidate Won Hee-ryong did not react in any way while Lee Cheon-soo was arguing with some citizens next to him and simply waved his hand at the citizens around him.
Controversy regarding the two arose again. This time, it is said that they interfered with the campaign of Lee Jae-myung, leader of the Democratic Party of Korea. In one video, it was captured that Candidate Won’s vehicle continued campaigning where Representative Lee Jae-myung was speaking to supporters without intentionally turning down the sound of the microphone or promotional song.

In response, some of Lee Jae-myung’s supporters booed, but the two paid no heed and continued campaigning. Representative Lee Jae-myung also looked somewhat annoyed, but did not make any direct remarks toward Candidate Won and Lee Cheon-soo.
Rather, he appeased his supporters and said, “Everyone, please just listen. “That’s their level,” he said. He also mentioned, “When I pass by in a campaign car and hear the sound of the opposing candidate’s campaign car, I stop because I think it might be a distraction.”
Also, “Let’s have some fun. I thought there were people like that. “It seems like they keep circling here on purpose, but it’s because there are no people anywhere else,” he said sarcastically.
