A Tragic Turn of events

Mohamad ‍Ilham Pradipta, 35, the head of a ​Sub-Branch Office (KCP) of ​a bank ‌in Central Jakarta, was ‍kidnapped ⁣and afterward murdered. His body was discovered this morning in the ‍serang Baru area‍ of Bekasi Regency. The ⁤case ⁤has rapidly unfolded,⁢ with police confirming the receipt of a kidnapping ​report on Wednesday, August 20, 2025, according​ to east Jakarta Metro police Criminal Investigation Unit AKBP Dicky.

The Kidnapping Unfolds

The kidnapping took place in the parking lot ​of a supermarket in Ciracas, ⁢East Jakarta, on ‌Wednesday. CCTV ​footage ⁤shows Ilham, wearing a brown batik shirt and beige pants, walking to his car when he was approached by the perpetrators. They were waiting in a vehicle parked​ adjacent to ‌his. Ilham reportedly attempted to resist, but ‌was forced into the white car ‌and driven away.

Discovery of the Body and Arrests

Following the abduction, ​a search led to the discovery of Ilham’s body in a bush in Karang Karang ⁢Sambung RT 08 RW‌ 04 Nagasari Village, Serang Baru, Bekasi‍ Regency. Bekasi Metro ‌Police Chief commissioner Mustofa⁢ stated that the victim was found ​face down, wearing the same clothing as seen in the CCTV footage – a brown batik shirt⁢ and beige pants – and sporting shoes. Wounds were present on his body.
