INDIANAPOLIS — The Indiana Pacers’ victory over the New york Knicks in ⁤Game 6 of⁣ the ‍Eastern Conference finals was somewhat‍ overshadowed by an injury ⁣to forward Jarace Walker. Walker, seen on crutches after the ⁤125-108 win saturday night, suffered⁣ a right ankle injury, leaving his role in the upcoming NBA⁣ Finals in question.

Coach Rick Carlisle expressed uncertainty regarding Walker’s ⁣status for⁢ Game 1 against Oklahoma City on Thursday night.The Pacers ‍hope the young player has time to recover.

“He’s young, so that’s good,” Carlisle said. He added that he did ⁢not see a replay of the injury and was unsure of the severity. “But when a guy goes down and‍ stays down like that,your always holding your breath.”
