Singer Jay Park resigns as the head of hip-hop labels AOMG and H1ghr Music, which he founded.
Jay Park announced on the 31st through his social networking service (SNS) account, “After much consideration and long decisions, I have decided to resign as the representative of AOMG and Higher Music.”
Jay Park added, “I think everyone will be very surprised.” He added, “I will continue to act as an advisor to AOMG and Higher Music, and I have decided to keep a good relationship like family.”
Jay Park also expressed his gratitude to the employees and artists of the two companies.
He said, “I am truly grateful for coming to the company I founded and developing it together and making it a wonderful company.
He added, “I have done my best so far, and I will continue to do my best in my role.”
AOMG is a hip-hop label led by Jay Park, a former member of 2PM.
Rappers such as Simon Dominic, Loco, Gray, Woo Won-jae, and Code Kunst, as well as various hip-hop and R&B musicians such as singer-songwriters, producers, and DJs, are evenly distributed.
