“First, thank God for the opportunity to experience this stunning part of football. I thank God for placing me here, allowing me to do what I love, and for a group of players whose heart is indescribable. You saw it on the court, and it’s not even half of what they exhibit as human beings, as soccer players chasing a dream. That really moves me.”

Campos emphasized the challenge posed by Motagua, the reigning champion, and acknowledged the narrow margin of victory.
“We played against a great team, a team that prepared for two tournaments, which is the current champion. It’s no accident they are where they are. They were a worthy rival. The fact that Motagua was a very good, worthy rival, and we have the joy of passing, enhances the work we did. Motagua is a well-directed team, and these endings come down to small details, even fortune, luck, I don’t know.”

Strategic Player Selection
Campos explained the rationale behind selecting players to inject fresh energy into the team. He noted that Motagua’s aggressive play in the first half necessitated adjustments.
“The annotation that occurred in the first half forced them to advance many lines… We refreshed the flower injury. He changed a little, changed the music because the idea was to refresh dough and still have much more speed in counterattack… In that game, yes, it is indeed valid that we both practise it.”

He also highlighted the importance of resilience and adapting to the flow of the game.
“We had the joy of finding three, four or five plays that thank God culminated with that goal. But yes, a bit of resilience too. In the end it suffers, the same. With all the humility we accept that there was suffering in some moments while we ordered the pieces. And well, also virtue of them, a great team, I insist.”

Darixon’s Impact and Tactical Decisions
Campos discussed the decision to start Darixon and Moya, emphasizing the tactical advantage it provided against Motagua’s formation.
“They were 5-4-1, we already had it a bit studied. And we knew that two men in the midfield, even though there we were going like to be with the knife here, as we were going to be hand in hand with very fast people. but we were going to have that numerical superiority in the middle. And that, from there, attack them inside with the centrals.”
– Jeaustin Campos, Real España Coach
He praised Darixon’s performance and his potential impact in the upcoming matches.
“In good time to return it is indeed a working type, quiet and that this satisfaction deserves today as well. And we hope you have been a little gunpowder for Wednesday and for the weekend. And that he continues to shine because the truth has made a very good series the two games.”
