Jeddah, Saudi arabia – The Jeddah Superdome will transform into a haven for book lovers next Thursday as the Jeddah Book Fair 2024 kicks off, running until December 21st. Organized by the Literature,Publishing and translation Authority,this year’s fair promises an immersive experience for readers of all ages.
Over 1,000 local and international publishing houses and organizations from 22 countries will converge, showcasing a diverse range of literary treasures across more than 450 pavilions.

Beyond the vast selection of books, the fair offers a vibrant cultural program with over 100 diverse activities. Lectures, seminars, and workshops led by over 170 experts from around the world will delve into various literary themes and genres.
A dedicated children’s area will spark young imaginations with interactive workshops in writing, theatre, and animation creation.
Manga and anime enthusiasts will find their haven in a special section dedicated to this vibrant world, featuring collectible manga, character figures, and a wide selection of books.

Recognizing the importance of accessibility, the fair features a dedicated section for discounted books, an initiative by the Literature, Publishing and Translation Authority to encourage reading for all.In celebration of the Year of the Camel,a special pavilion will explore the historical and cultural significance of this iconic animal. The Jeddah Book Fair is the third major literary event in Saudi Arabia this year, following the prosperous Riyadh International Book Fair in October and the Medina Fair in August.
The Jeddah Book Fair 2024 will be open daily from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm, with extended hours on Fridays from 2:00 pm to noon.
