Jeff Jarrett Reflects on WWE Hall of Fame Past and Future
Jeff Jarrett Discusses WWE Hall of Fame Selection Process and Potential Physical Location
WWE Hall of Fame Selection: A top-Down Decision
Jeff Jarrett recently discussed the process behind being inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame, emphasizing that it isn’t a democratic vote. ”To go in,didn’t go in. That is what it is indeed, as it’s called the WWE Hall of Fame. that is the reality,” Jarrett stated. He drew a parallel to his experience with TNA Wrestling when Dixie Carter was in charge, explaining that the final decision rested solely with her.
“Look, everybody takes feedback, advice, and suggestions, and all of that, but that’s how it’s done. There wasn’t a ‘voting’ process,” jarrett clarified, highlighting the centralized nature of the decision-making.
The Prospect of a Physical WWE hall of Fame
Despite the lack of a physical location currently, Jarrett believes a WWE Hall of Fame will eventually materialize. “I think in due time, there may be a physical Hall of Fame,” he said. He envisions it as a valuable addition, particularly given the events surrounding WrestleMania.
Jarrett pointed to his own experience at WrestleMania Axxess, where he was asked to contribute memorabilia, as evidence of the potential for monetization. “When you kind of see that Axxess, that year I went in and they said, ‘Hey man, can you bring a hat and old tights and boots and kind of make an exhibit out of it?’ I think there is a lot of monetization in it, and I’ve thought that a long time.”
Orlando as a potential Location
Speculation regarding the location of a potential physical Hall of Fame has centered on Orlando, Florida. Jim Ross has publicly suggested Orlando as a likely site, and Eric Bischoff has echoed that sentiment. Orlando’s established role as a hub for WWE events, including WrestleMania, makes it a logical choice.
