Shuri, Otozuki Kei, and Nakagawa Tsubasa, who will appear in the Kansai TV/Fuji TV “Monthly 10pm Drama” “Monster” (starting October 14th, every Monday at 10pm), appeared at the Fuji TV series October drama joint press conference event “Fuji TV Drama Live 2024 Autumn” held at Tokyo Wangan Studio on the 20th. They revealed what it was like filming.

About the Drama

This is a unique legal entertainment film about the mysterious monster lawyer Ryoko Kannami (Shuri), who is not bound by common sense and faces her opponents without emotion, facing various problems unique to the Reiwa era where the law sometimes does not keep up, and facing court battles as if it were a game. The story is an original one written by Atsuko Hashibe. Otozuki plays Yukiko, the wife of Yosuke Murao (Shohei Uno) and also works as a paralegal at the Okusa Law Firm, and Nakagawa plays Takeru Shirono, a clerk at the convenience store where Ryoko frequents.

The Cast’s Experience

At the press conference, they filled in the blank in the question, “Please pay attention to our drama too.” The “Monday 10pm” team answered, “Jesse’s ‘Eh?’,” referring to Jesse (SixTONES), who plays Sugiura Yoshihiro, a young lawyer who graduated from the University of Tokyo’s Faculty of Law. Otozuki was impressed, saying, “There’s a lot of variety, and the voices come from amazing places.”

Then, the MCs, Untouchable, leaned forward and asked, “Is Jesse doing a good job?” Shuri smiled and said, “I was working late yesterday too.” Otozuki said, “We were making puns, but it was relaxing,” and the filming was progressing in a relaxed atmosphere. Nakagawa looked lonely and said, “I haven’t met him yet.”

The event featured Suzuka Hiroshi, Matsumoto Honoka, and Mikata Ryosuke from the Monday 9pm drama “Usouki Rhetoric,” Shuri, Otozuki Kei, and Nakagawa Tsubasa from the Monday 10pm drama “Monster,” Sorimachi Takashi, Sugino Yosuke, and Shiraishi Mai from the Tuesday 9pm drama “Okura: Unsolved Case Investigation,” Fujiwara Tatsuya, Hirose Alice, and Kohinata Fumiyo from the Wednesday 10pm drama “All-Range Anomaly Solution Room,” Matsumoto Wakana, Tanaka Kei, and Fukazawa Tatsuya (Snow Man) from the Thursday 10pm drama “Thursday Theatre My Treasure,” Miyase Ryuya and Ono Karin from the Tuesday Drama Eleven “Snowdrop’s First Love,” and Suzuki Nobuyuki and Kurashina Kana from the Saturday Drama “Bantman.” A total of 19 main cast members from the seven works appeared, and Untouchable (Yamazaki Hiroya and Shibata Eiji) and the station’s announcer Niimi Yuka served as MCs.
