Indian superstar Sandesh Jhinkan’s dream of playing in Europe is coming true. Jinken, currently the star of Kolkata giants ATK Mohun Bagan, is set to join Croatian club HNK Sibenik. The player has agreed to the terms of the Croatian club and the contract is expected to be formalized soon. This is great news for Indian football fans.
Jinken, currently one of the best players in Indian football, has been trying to play in Europe for the past two years. However, the injury and the arrival of Kovid 19 were an obstacle to the player’s European dreams. Despite receiving offers from Croatia, Austria and Greece this season, the player has decided to join Croatian club HNK Sibenik.

“We have reached an agreement with HNK Sibenik. Every effort is being made to bring him (Jinkane) to Croatia as soon as possible.” Speaking to the Times of India on Monday, Sandesh Jhinkan’s spokesperson Anuj Kichlu said:
Jinken, who joined ATK Mohun Bagan after splitting with the Kerala Blasters in 2020, has a five-year contract with them. However, Jinken’s contract with Close ATK allows him to leave the team if called upon by the European club during the contract period. Therefore, there will be no other obstacles for the player to go to the current Croatian club. But leaving the club on the defensive line is sure to be a huge setback for ATK Mohun Bagan.
HNK Sibenik, meanwhile, is a club that plays in the Croatian First Division League, with 10 teams competing. They finished sixth in the league last season and have only one point from their first four games this season.
