Hwang Cheol-haul, known as ‘Jing Man,’ Engages in War of Words with Wife During Divorce Suit

Controversy has arisen during the divorce proceedings between Hwang Cheol-sun, popularly known as ‘Jing Man,’ and his wife, Ji-yeon-ah. The dispute reached a boiling point on the 24th when Jiyeon-ah took to her Instagram story to urge Hwang Cheol-sun to fulfill his child support obligations.
Earlier on the 16th, Ji-yeon-ah expressed her desire to swiftly conclude the legal proceedings and sever all ties with Hwang Cheol-sun. She stated, “I no longer wish to be associated with that person or face any further trouble.” As the negotiation date approaches, Ji-yeon-ah found herself frustrated with the ongoing drama. She pleaded with Hwang Cheol-sun, saying, “Please remove all family photos from Instagram and YouTube. Pretend to be happy in the meantime. Isn’t that enough?”
Hwang Cheol-sun has accused Ji-yeon-ah of having an affair and even resorted to physical violence. Dismissing these claims, Ji-yeon-ah vehemently denied any wrongdoing. She questioned, “Did I ever go out to meet anyone? I refuse to entertain your fabricated stories any longer.”
Mr. Ji, on his part, claimed that Hwang Cheol-sun had previously concealed domestic violence allegations against him. Last March, Ji-yeon-ah had uploaded a video of herself being attacked by Hwang Cheol-sun on social media. However, she later clarified that the incident was a staged performance aimed at exposing the person who instigated trouble between them.
In response, Hwang Cheol-sun addressed the matter in a YouTube Live session on the 19th, stating, “I am sincerely willing to reveal the truth behind my wife’s allegations. I urge people to refrain from making hasty judgments.” On the 21st, Hwang Cheol-sun indirectly addressed Ji-yeon-ah’s actions, expressing frustration over the continuous spread of the controversy on social media.
Hwang Cheol-sun and Ji-yeon-ah tied the knot in 2020 and have two sons together.
