Joe Cole’s West Ham v Wolves Predictions: Goals Galore Expected
Hammers Set to Sink Wolves in Monday Night Thriller
London Stadium is set to host a Premier League clash brimming with tension as West Ham United take on Wolverhampton Wanderers on Monday night. Former Hammers midfielder joe Cole believes his old side will emerge victorious, predicting a 3-1 win for David Moyes’ men.
Cole, speaking exclusively to Paddy Power News, highlighted West Ham’s attacking prowess despite their recent loss to Leicester City.”West Ham had 31 shots the other night against Leicester, 31, and they lost 3-1!” he exclaimed. “Going forward things are functioning, putting them away will come in time.”
The arrival of Niclas Fullkrug adds another dimension to West Ham’s attack, according to Cole. “He’s getting back up to speed,” Cole said. “You want Lopetegui to play Fullkrug and make him stay between the sticks. He can be the type of figure that Raul Jimenez was for Wolves, a pure finisher.”
Cole believes a partnership between Fullkrug and Michail Antonio coudl be the key to unlocking West Ham’s goalscoring potential. ”Michail Antonio’s been a great, great player but he needs support,” he explained. “He can’t play for 90 minutes every game so, between the two of them, you’d imagine ther’s enough goals there.”
However, Cole acknowledges West Ham’s defensive vulnerabilities. “Defensively West Ham need to do better,” he admitted. “There’s been wholesale changes at the back and I think Max kilman has been very good but the defensive structure needs to be better and they need to stop conceding goals.”
Despite these concerns, Cole remains optimistic about West ham’s chances. “I saw enough in West Ham during the week to make me think they’ll go and win this,” he declared. “A win would steady the ship and hopefully we start to see that midfield blend a little bit.”
Cole’s Predictions:
West Ham to win
Both teams to score
Mohammed Kudus to score
Lucas Paqueta to score

Hammers Hoping for Home Turf Advantage Against Resilient Wolves
London, England – Tension is building ahead of Monday night’s Premier League showdown at the London Stadium, where West Ham United will lock horns with Wolverhampton Wanderers. both teams are eager for a crucial three points, setting the stage for a fiery encounter.
To delve deeper into the tactical nuances and potential match-winners, we sat down with football analyst and former Premier League midfielder, Mark Jenkins.
NewsDirectory3: Mark, West Ham have been showing glimpses of their attacking prowess this season. Can they exploit Wolves’ vulnerabilities at the back?
Mark Jenkins: Absolutely. West Ham possess a dangerous forward line with the likes of Antonio and Bowen capable of causing havoc. Wolves haven’t been particularly solid defensively, and if West Ham can press high and disrupt their build-up play, they could create plenty of opportunities.
NewsDirectory3: Conversely, Wolves are known for their well-organized defence and counter-attacking capabilities. What are their main strengths, and how can they pose a threat to West Ham?
Mark Jenkins: Wolves’ strength lies in their disciplined defensive structure and the pace they possess on the break. Players like Traore and Neto can be devastating in transition. If West Ham commit too many men forward, Wolves have the quality to hit them on the counter.
NewsDirectory3: This match is crucial for both teams as they look to cement their position in the league table. What do you anticipate will be the key tactical battle?
Mark Jenkins: I think the midfield battle will be crucial. Wolves are excellent at controlling possession and dictating the tempo. West Ham will need Rice and Soucek to be at their best to wrestle control and provide a platform for their attacking players.
NewsDirectory3: Mark, who do you see coming out on top in this Monday night thriller?
Mark Jenkins: It’s going to be a tight and closely contested match. Both teams have the quality to win.Though,I think the home advantage will be crucial for West Ham. Their fans will be roaring them on,and I predict a narrow victory for the Hammers.
