Adare, Co. Limerick – John Thompson, a beloved⁤ educator and former principal of St.Augustine’s School, passed away peacefully at his home ⁣in Patrickswell on December 11th, 2024, surrounded by his loving family. he was 78.

Thompson, originally from Maghery, Co.Armagh, dedicated his⁢ life to education, leaving ⁣an indelible mark on the community of Adare. He is remembered fondly by former ‍students and colleagues for ‍his warmth, dedication, and ⁤unwavering ⁣commitment to fostering a love of learning.
