Jordanian Director Hussein Daibes’ Family Speaks Out Against Violation of Privacy

The recent video interview of renowned Jordanian director Hussein Daibes from a nursing home in Amman has sparked a heated debate on social media. The interview, which showed the director’s evident struggle with his health, was met with an emotional response from his family, who have since spoken out against the violation of his privacy.

Fawaz Dibes, cousin of the director, has condemned the nursing home’s decision to allow a 3-hour media interview, stating that the family did not provide prior permission for the recording. Fawaz has also announced that the family plans to hold a press conference in Amman to address the situation and provide further details.

The family has filed a case against the Jordanian “Shama” center, producer Muhammad al-Majali, and Syrian journalist Rabi, citing a breach of patient confidentiality. Fawaz has expressed his outrage on social media, describing the incident as a “scathing” violation of his cousin’s privacy.

Director Hussein Daibes’ Health Condition

Fawaz has revealed that the director suffered a stroke a year and a half ago, which has led to Alzheimer’s and hemiplegia. He emphasized that Hussein is receiving the best possible treatment and does not require a health follow-up from the Minister of Culture or anyone else.
