The legal dispute centers on allegations that Apple and OpenAI colluded to block competing artificial intelligence applications from the market, including by restricting their visibility on the App Store, as reported by 9to5mac.com. Both companies have consistently denied those claims.

The antitrust litigation shifted when X and SpaceXAI informed the federal court that they reached an agreement with Apple and would move to dismiss their claims against the iPhone maker. Upon performing a private examination of the sought-after documents, though, the Court concludes that they lack material relevant to the matters slated for resolution during trial or summary judgment in this matter.
