I visited the accident site a week after the accident, and I think there must have been a lot of protests from the families of the missing person who are having a harder time than anyone else.

That’s right.

The chief executive of Hyundai Industrial Development, who was responsible for the accident, appeared on the scene a week after the accident.

Naturally, the family protested strongly, pouring out anger.

First, let’s hear from the family and Chairman Chung Mong-gyu.

“It’s a week. A week. Don’t let the family bleed.”

“We’re going to have to take our family to solve this situation, isn’t it?”

“I will pay all the damages.”

“Compensation for damage is not important, but life is being cut off.”

The reporters were not able to enter the interview site together.

The voices of the families coming out of the tent were filled with strong anger and regret.

The family demanded that Chairman Chung’s resignation take action as soon as possible, as the problem will not be resolved.

It is known that Chairman Jung bowed his head repeatedly saying, “I’m sorry,” while listening to the family’s accusations that lasted for about five minutes.

After the family interview, Chairman Chung also appeared at the briefing site of the fire department.

This time, it received strong protests from the merchants’ association and prospective tenants of the nearby commercial district, which was closed due to the risk of further collapse.

“Do not separate the entire 1st and 2nd complexes, but demolish them and rebuild them (please be sure to ask).”

The situation at the scene is very dangerous, and the search operation continues to take that long, but there is still no news that five missing persons have been found, right?

No significant progress has been made yet.

Starting this morning, the fire department removed all debris from the first basement floor and the first floor where one missing person was found.

It was the place where a worker in his 60s was found, so I was hoping that there might be a worker who worked with him, but no good news came.

The fire department then sent eight rescue dogs to the upper floors, from the 22nd and 26th to the 28th, to search, but again, there was no result.

It has been diagnosed that the existing tower crane leaning at the construction site is in a very dangerous condition.

This is the conclusion of a meeting of experts in building and structure held this morning, and some pointed out that not only dismantling but also the safety of workers working should be considered.

The assembly of a 1,200-ton large-scale crane to dismantle the crane in question has been completed.

We plan to reinforce the existing crane with wires for the next two days, and finish dismantling by Friday.

The police conducted a search and seizure of 10 companies that supplied concrete to the accident site today.

In addition to the head of the Hyundai Industrial Development site, nine people including five including the head of Hyundai Industrial Development’s construction department, one on-site manager of a subcontractor, and three supervisors were arrested by the police on charges of negligent manslaughter and building law violations.
