Jungkook of BTS Makes a Remarkable Debut on UK Charts

Jungkook, a member of the globally acclaimed music group BTS, has achieved an impressive feat on the Official UK Charts with his first solo single. On the latest chart (21st to 27th), Jungkook’s single ‘Seven’ secured the third position on the official ‘Top 100’ singles chart.
This achievement makes Jungkook the first Korean solo singer to debut in the top 5 of the Official Chart Top 100 Singles immediately after release. Notably, BTS’s well-known tracks like “Dynamite,” “Butter,” and “My Universe” also peaked at number three on the same chart.
In addition to this, ‘Seven’ debuted at number one on the single sales chart and the single download chart. Furthermore, it secured the fifth spot on the streaming chart, showcasing Jungkook’s immense popularity in the UK.
The success continues for Jungkook as his single ‘Seven’ is anticipated to debut at second place on the prestigious US Billboard’s ‘Hot 100’ chart next week.
In a recent interview with Weverse Magazine, Jungkook shared his aspirations, expressing his desire to become a significant pop star. Despite his remarkable achievements so far, the humble artist believes he still has a long way to go towards achieving his ambitions.
“I hope there will come a day when I can objectively recognize myself as the pop star I aspire to be,” Jungkook stated.

According to the official chart on the 21st (local time), ‘Seven’, released by Jungkook on the 14th, is number 3 on the latest chart (21st to 27th) of the official ‘Top 100’ singles chart.
Jungkook is the first Korean solo singer to debut in the top 5 of the Official Chart Top 100 Singles immediately upon release. BTS’s “Dynamite,” “Butter,” and “My Universe” peaked at number three on that chart.
Along with this, ‘Saith’ debuted at No.1 on the single sales chart and the single download chart from the official chart this week. It was ranked 5th on the streaming chart.
Jungkook’s ‘Seven’ is expected to debut at No. 2 on the US Billboard’s main singles chart, ‘Hot 100’, which will be released next week.
In an interview with Weverse Magazine published on the 20th, Jungkook said, “I have a big goal of becoming a huge pop star.”
When asked if he was already a huge pop star, Jungkook said, “I don’t think so.”
He said, “The reason I’m doing this now” and “I want to become that kind of pop star one day.
“I hope the day will come when I can recognize myself when I see myself from a third person perspective,” he said.
