Eleven-year-old Silas Randall Timberlake made his acting debut with a brief, non-speaking appearance at the end of the Apple TV+ film Matchbox: The Movie,
which premiered Oct. 9, 2026, USA Today reported. The film’s premiere brought attention to the young newcomer alongside his parents, Justin Timberlake, 45, and Jessica Biel, 44, who married in 2012.

Silas Timberlake Joins Matchbox Cast
Silas Randall Timberlake appears in a small role during the closing moments of Matchbox: The Movie,
a project based on Mattel toys that features John Cena as an undercover CIA agent leading an accidental globe-trotting adventure. Jessica Biel stars in the feature as an emergency medical technician, amateur race-car driver, and Cena’s love interest. The film’s ensemble cast also includes Sam Richardson, Teyonah Parris, and Arturo Castro.
Jessica Biel stated that she and Justin Timberlake are letting their son take his time finding his own path. The couple also shares a younger son, Phineas, born in 2020.

coincides with industry reports regarding Jessica Biel’s next film role in an upcoming project about Hugh Hefner titled Playmates.

Crystal Harris, who was married to Hugh Hefner for nearly five years until his death in 2017, publicly shared an Instagram direct message urging Biel to reconsider the role. Harris cited allegations of rape, coercion, drugging, exploitation, and concerns involving minors tied to Hefner’s legacy.
Many other women have come forward with allegations of rape, coercion, drugging and exploitation as well. There are also deeply troubling concerns involving minors. I hope everyone involved in this film takes the time to listen to the women who lived it before helping Hollywood turn it back into nostalgia.
