K-Pop Star Turned Server: Former Cechskis Member Ko Ji-young’s Shocking Career Shift Revealed
Ko Ji-young’s New Venture: From Idol to Entrepreneur
Former Sechs Kies member Ko Ji-young has been making headlines with his latest endeavor. In a recent video posted on the YouTube channel ’Monetary’, Ko Ji-young shared his journey from being an idol to becoming a successful entrepreneur.
Ko Ji-young revealed that he initially worked in the financial field related to real estate but found the market to be extremely competitive. He then decided to join forces with a junior who runs a health-related restaurant, marking a new chapter in his career.
When asked about his decision to leave the idol group, Ko Ji-young stated, “I didn’t think it matched my personality and group activities. I thought that way when I was working, and I didn’t think I had much passion, so I thought that again. There is no point in doing any broadcasting.”
Ko Ji-young is now fully invested in his new venture, often seen running the shop himself, from washing dishes to entertaining customers. He expressed his admiration for self-employed individuals, saying, “I think self-employed people are really amazing.”
Reflecting on his experiences, Ko Ji-young emphasized the importance of taking risks and trying new things. “I have tried both success and failure, so I think it is important to try rather than not being able to make a decision for fear of failure. My goal is to maintain a healthy body,” he said.
Ko Ji-young’s future plans include growing the restaurant and utilizing his knowledge of real estate and finance to help the franchise business thrive.
