Palakkunnu: The resolution against the Silver Line project was passed in the CPM-ruled Uduma panchayat. The resolution was passed after the BJP backed the state government’s withdrawal from the Silver Line Project presented by the UDF. The resolution was introduced by Harris Ankakalari of the Muslim League. Congress member Chandran supported the fourth bet.

The party ranks in Uduma panchayath are CPM 10, UDF 9 and BJP 2. The resolution states that the Silver Line project, which runs through seven wards of Uduma panchayath, is not a suitable project for Kerala. The resolution says about 100 families will be threatened with eviction.

At the same time, panchayat president P Lakshmi said that the UDF resolution passed with the support of the BJP was an anti-development move. Earlier, they blamed the UDF, which had spent Rs 28 crore for the study of high-speed railways, during the UDF regime.

At the same time, the panchayat UDF committee congratulated the UDF members who passed the resolution. The leaders said this was the first time that a resolution had been passed in the CPM-ruled panchayat governing council against the government.

Protests against the Silverline project; The government to bring down the police and defend themselves

Thiruvananthapuram: The police (POLICE) will be resistant to the police (POLICE) protests against the Silverline Project. Kadu (K RAIL) issued a letter to the Government of the police protection for Killing officials

Strong protests are rising in the state against the Silver Line project. Preventing officials from coming to Kallidan for the project is also widespread. It is in this context that K Rail is moving to use the police to quell the protests.

K Rail had written to the government a week ago seeking police protection for the officers. The letter also asked the DGP to issue a special directive to provide security and to deploy more police personnel for this purpose.

K Rail is trying to complete the stoning by March 31. The government is likely to direct the DGP to provide police protection after considering the letter. But the Silver Line strike committee said the protest would intensify if the army without police arrived

‘Not against Silver Line, government is hiding facts’: Single bench again

The High Court single bench has again criticized the state government on the Silver Line. Justice Devan Ramachandran accused the government of concealing facts related to the Silver Line. When the court seeks information related to the Silver Line, the government appeals against it. He said the court was not against the Silver Line project and was intervening in issues affecting the people.

The single bench government was criticized after the division bench today verbally mentioned that it would quash the second order of the single bench which had blocked the Silver Line survey. The Single Bench Silver Line Survey was suspended twice in two cases. The division bench had earlier quashed the January single bench order. The division bench also said that the order issued by the single bench to suspend the survey of the project on February 7 would be quashed. The oral reference is on a government appeal. The case was adjourned for a detailed order.

While considering the case, the Advocate General informed the Division Bench of his dissatisfaction with the position of the Single Bench. It was argued that the order of the Single Bench in the case pending before the Division Bench was erroneous. The Single Bench was informed that the Division Bench had been shifted to pronounce judgment in the case. The AG also alleged that the single bench had issued the order without hearing the side of the government.
