Kofi Kingston and Austin Creed Join AEW Roster
Rumors surrounding Kingston and Creed joining AEW circulated for weeks before the agreement solidified over the past fortnight. An AEW source told Fightful Select that the duo was not officially signed two weeks prior to the announcement, but negotiations quickly progressed to an imminent roster addition. The duo is planned for a high-profile appearance as a mystery wild card team at Wembley Stadium, where they are heavily speculated to join Swerve Strickland in competing for the AEW World Trios Championships in the Trios Roulette Royale. Fightful Select also reported that the pair will receive a new team name upon their debut, though officials have not yet disclosed the designation.
