Kalinga Super Cup: Jamshedpur FC Draws with Kerala Blasters in First Half

Bhubaneswar: Jamshedpur FC drew Kerala Blasters (1-1) in the first half of the Kalinga Super Cup. .C. Kerala Blasters took the lead in the 29th minute. Dimitrios Diamanticos scored the goal through a penalty kick.

Malayali Jamshedpur goalkeeper Rahinesh misjudged Diamanticos with a penalty for bringing down Diasouke in the penalty box.

However, the Blasters’ joy was short-lived for four minutes. Daniel Chima Chukwu scored the equalizer for Jamshedpur in the 33rd minute. Muhammad Uwaiz picked up the pass into the box, jumped high and Chukwu caught it with his right foot and sent it into the net.

In the first match of Group B, they beat I-League club Shillong Lajong 3-1. The yellow army came down on their self-confidence. Jamshedpur also have three points after beating North East United 2-1, but Blasters are ahead on goal difference.
