The KDZ inspection at Sarajevo International Airport has been completed, and as TVSA has learned, it was a false report.
After receiving an anonymous tip about the alleged location of explosive devices in the Sarajevo International Airport area, the competent services immediately took all necessary measures in accordance with valid security protocols.
“A detailed anti-sabotage review of the airport’s facilities was carried out and it was determined that this was a false tip. In cooperation with the competent security agencies, the complete safety of all passengers and employees of the airport is ensured,” Sarajevo International Airport announced.
They pointed out that the flights continue to take place in accordance with the proposed flight schedule, with possible minor delays due to the security measures put in place.
“We ask citizens for their understanding and thank you for your patience. Sarajevo International Airport will continue to monitor the situation and we will communicate all further information in a timely manner”, they added.
