Speaking at the “Ballerina” premiere, Reeves said he and Bullock have long sought another project together. Producer Mark Gordon, who worked on “Speed,” presented them with an idea that finally materialized into the unnamed Amazon MGM film.The romantic thriller marks their first collaboration since “The Lake House.”

Finding the right project and coordinating schedules proved challenging. Despite their A-list status, it took considerable time to solidify this reunion.”She and I had always wanted to work together,” Reeves said, “and one of the producers we had worked with in the past, mark Gordon, kind of brought the idea to us.and so over the past couple of years, we’ve been trying to figure out what we could do.”
The pair previously starred in “Speed” and “The Lake House,” released 12 years apart. This new romantic thriller is expected to arrive at least 20 years after their last film together.
