Krzysztof Ziemiec is returning with a new current affairs program titled Polska przyszłości – nasze dylematy on the Antena HD channel, featuring a shift from daily news chasing to long-term socio-political issues.
From daily news to long-term challenges
The production team decided to move away from daily news cycles to focus on long-term socio-political matters. Krzysztof Ziemiec outlined the core idea behind the new format in an interview with Presserwis, explaining that the show does not compete with rolling news networks.
MWE Networks wanted the broadcast to be timeless, relevant across multiple days, and focused on challenges affecting not only residents of large cities, Ziemiec stated on the pages of Presserwis. Discussions will cover national security and healthcare challenges, featuring independent experts and specialists rather than politicians in selected episodes.

Endframe Media moves production to larger studio
Episodes will be recorded in a larger, newly arranged studio belonging to Endframe Media without a live audience. Endframe Media, co-owned by Krzysztof Ziemiec, serves as the executive producer for the cycle and operates digital projects including the Otwarta Konserwa and Otwarte Komiksy channels.
Following its broadcast on television, an extended and uncut version of each episode will be published online via the Otwarta Konserwa channel. The show also incorporates reporting materials, street polls, and feature columns to vary the format.
Premiere moves to 11:00 AM time slot
The premiere of Polska przyszłości – nasze dylematy is scheduled for Sunday, October 18, airing around 11:00 AM. This differs from the 9:00 AM morning slot used by his previous spring format, Krzysztof Ziemiec zaprasza.
The spring program averaged 15,000 viewers, according to Nielsen Media data that includes out-of-home viewing. Meanwhile, Antena HD recorded a general audience share of 0.71 percent among viewers aged 4 and older in August, up from 0.55 percent in the same period last year.
Critics fault Ziemiec for partisan news coverage
Ziemiec’s career has faced sustained scrutiny, particularly regarding his tenure anchoring Telewizja Polska’s main news broadcast, Wiadomości, following 2016. Critics repeatedly faulted him for presenting partisan coverage under the management of Jacek Kurski.
Public backlash intensified following the January 14, 2019, broadcast on the day of Gdańsk Mayor Paweł Adamowicz’s death, which featured a controversial segment on hate speech directed at political opposition figures and Jerzy Owsiak. The resulting criticism prompted his move to Teleexpress, where he remained until changes at TVP between late 2023 and early 2024.
