Kendrick Lamar is poised for a possibly triumphant night at the 2025 BET Awards. The Compton, calif., rapper garnered 10 nominations, leading all artists. The annual award show is scheduled for Monday, June 9.
Lamar’s nominations span several key categories, including Album of the Year for GNX and Video of the Year for “Not Like Us.” He also received three Viewer’s Choice Award nominations for “Not like Us,” “luther” (featuring SZA), and “Like That” (with Future and Metro Boomin).
The “Like That” collaboration also earned him a Best Collaboration nod, along with “30 for 30” and “Luther.” Lamar is further recognized as Best Male Hip Hop Artist,and Dave Free is nominated for Video Director of the Year for their work together.
Other artists with multiple nominations include Doechii, Drake, Future, and GloRilla, each securing six nods. Metro Boomin follows with five nominations, while SZA and The Weeknd each received four.
