Kochi: Kerala Blasters defeated Indian Navy in a pre-season friendly match. The Yellows defeated the Navy by two unanswered goals. The match was played at Kochi Panampilly ground.
Chencho Gildshen and superstar Alvaro Vasquez scored for the Blasters. Vasquez scored in his debut match for the Blazers.
Chencho scored the first goal for the Blazers in the 10th minute. Chincho, who received a pass from outside the box, slammed the ball into the back of the net. The Blasters took a 1-0 lead in the first half.
The Blasters controlled the game in the second half. But the team failed to create goal opportunities. However, in the 88th minute, Vazquez Blasters completed the scoring.
