It is learned that they were safely transferred to a medical college. In addition, two persons from Kozhikode Medical College and a private hospital had symptoms (nipah Virus) It is reported that it has started to be seen.

The Department of Health recommends that anyone with an abnormal fever or other illness should report it immediately. It has also been decided to set up a special lab at Kozhikode Medical College for NIPA testing.

The lab will be set up by the NIV team to test Trunat here for those with NIP symptoms. The onset of symptoms in the deceased child was about 10 days ago but the source of the disease has not been identified yet.

The central team had reached Chathamangalam in Kozhikode yesterday. Samples were collected from there. Following the information that the dead child had eaten rambutan, the team examined Paramba. It is learned that the inspection will continue in the area even today. A high-level review meeting will be convened today to discuss the incident further.
