Abu Dhabi-based Khazna Data Centres is partnering with Nvidia to construct artificial intelligence factories across the Middle East,Africa,and Europe. This move follows the recent declaration of a planned 5 GW UAE-U.S. AI campus in the United Arab emirates.
Nvidia has certified Khazna’s next-generation facility designs to ensure compatibility with the Nvidia Blackwell architecture. Future Khazna infrastructure projects will incorporate Nvidia-ready blueprints as a standard, guaranteeing seamless integration with the latest GPU-accelerated workloads. Khazna, a hyperscale digital infrastructure leader, is majority-owned by G42, with MGX and silver Lake as minority shareholders.
The expansion of data center capacity is crucial to meet the rising demand for AI and machine learning applications. These AI factories will play a significant role in supporting the growing need for high-performance computing infrastructure.

Khazna intends to design most of its future data halls with capacities reaching 50 MW, developing individual AI clusters up to 250 MW. with many of these data halls located in the planned UAE-U.S. AI campus, the UAE is set to become one of the world’s most advanced AI infrastructure hubs. This positions the UAE as a key player in the global AI landscape, fostering innovation and technological advancement.
Khazna is also rapidly expanding its reach across the Middle East, Africa, and Europe, with plans to scale up to 1 GW of capacity in countries including France, Italy, Saudi Arabia, Egypt, Turkey, and Kenya. This expansion underscores Khazna’s commitment to providing robust digital infrastructure to support the growing demand for AI and other advanced technologies.
