Khloé Kardashian has expressed regret over her participation in the Netflix documentary Untold: The Life and Death of Lamar Odom and stated that she is still waiting for an apology from her former husband.

Speaking on her podcast, Khloé in Wonder Land, Kardashian discussed the documentary with her mother, Kris Jenner. During the conversation, Kardashian confirmed that she has not spoken with Odom and questioned what he would even have to say to her.

When Jenner suggested that Odom might reach out to say, Hey, I’m really sorry, Kardashian responded that she had not heard from him and expressed her belief that Odom has been doubling down instead of apologizing.

Disputes Over Social Media and Family Ties

A primary point of contention for Kardashian is an interview in which Odom reportedly discussed the impact of their marriage on his public profile. According to Kardashian, Odom said something along the lines of, ‘Yeah, that marriage made me more popular in the social media world.’

Kardashian told Jenner that this comment indicated Odom does not truly care about her. She noted that while Odom might be devastated to lose the favor of the rest of the family—including Jenner, her sisters, and Rob—because he has always been sensitive about their view of him, she does not feel the same regard from him.

The rift has led to a decision to sever ties. Kardashian told her mother that the family is no longer talking to Odom.

Odom’s Perspective on Life-Saving Claims

Lamar Odom has addressed some of the claims made by Kardashian during an appearance on Today with Jenna & Sheinelle. During the interview, hosts Bush Hager and Sheinelle Jones questioned Odom about Kardashian’s role in his recovery and the assertion that she saved his life.

While Odom admitted that Kardashian took care of him and acknowledged that she stood by his side in some ways, he disputed the idea that she was the primary reason for his survival.

Conflict Regarding Joe Odom

The disagreement between the former couple extends to the events surrounding Odom’s medical crisis in Nevada. In the Netflix documentary, Kardashian claimed that upon her arrival at the hospital, Odom’s estranged father, Joe Odom, was instructing doctors to stop life-support measures.

Kardashian stated that she assumed Joe Odom believed he would become the beneficiary of Lamar’s estate. She alleged that Joe Odom told medical staff, Don’t put him on life support. Turn those machines off.

Lamar Odom, whose father passed away in 2021, has denied this version of events. He argued that he was unconscious and asleep during that time and could not personally verify the claims. Odom further disputed the characterization of his father, stating that Joe Odom was his biggest fan and that such a request is not something that would have come out of his mouth.

Odom concluded by stating he did not know how the events had been mistranslated to produce Kardashian’s recollection.
