Following the debut of the Tasman truck, Kia is expanding its pickup truck lineup wiht a new electric vehicle model slated for release in North america. Unlike the Tasman, this Kia electric pickup truck is specifically designed for both urban environments and outdoor adventures, according to the company.
Kia announced in April that the new EV pickup will be built on a dedicated EV platform. The company promises “best-in-class interior and cargo space, a robust towing system, off-road capabilities and advanced infotainment and safety features.”
The inclusion of off-road features distinguishes this electric pickup from other vehicles in Kia’s range.The infotainment system is expected to resemble the dual-display technology found in recent Kia Sportage SUVs.
