Kia launched the high performance electric vehicle ‘The Kia EV6 GT’ on the 4th.
The EV6 GT is a high performance version of the EV6 based on the EV-only ‘E-GMP’ platform. It is characterized by ensuring the highest level of power performance ever by combining a high output motor and battery.
It can reach 100 km/h in just 3.5 seconds from standstill. The maximum speed reaches 260 km/h. A 400V / 800V multi-charge system is also applied, so if you use the 800V super fast charging system, you can charge from 10% to 80% in 18 minutes.
The design was also improved. Only 21-inch GT wheels and neon colored calipers were applied. Vertical modeling has been added to the front and rear bumpers. The interior has a D-cut steering wheel, and neon colors are applied across the interior, including the GT mode button and seats.
The price is 72 million earned after 3.5% individual consumption tax benefits and tax.
A Kia official said, “Starting with the EV6 GT, we plan to continue operating the GT model, a high-performance version, as a brand for electric vehicles planned for future release.”
