On the evening of the 9th, People’s Power Representative Kim Ki-hyun and new floor leader Yoon Jae-ok visit and pay condolences to the father-in-law of former Democratic Party leader Lee Nak-yeon.
Senior Spokesperson Sang-beom Yoo said in a press announcement that afternoon that Representative Kim and Representative Yoon would visit Samsung Seoul Hospital in Ilwon-dong, Gangnam-gu, Seoul at 8:00 this evening to pay condolences to Lee.
Former CEO Lee left the country in June of last year and suffered a funeral while staying in the United States. After entering the country early the previous day, he has been serving as a resident for the second day, receiving condolences from the morning of the same day. Funeral is on the 10th.
Democratic Party leader Lee Jae-myung also visited the mortuary that afternoon and paid condolences for about 20 minutes.
CEO Lee said, “I really liked the contents of the lecture (in the US),” and former CEO Lee said, “In April, I published a book containing alternatives to inter-Korean reunification and peace, and in June I went to Berlin, Germany. After giving a special lecture, I will return to Korea.”
Afterwards, former CEO Lee asked, “Please lead the party well,” and Lee said, “I will do that.”
Rep. Lee explained, “The focus was on pure condolences, and it was a place to share good wishes with each other.” .
