After overcoming thrombosis and regeneration, Nellie Korda (USA) regained her top ranking in the world in women’s golf.

In the women’s golf world rankings published yesterday (14th), Koda came top, up three places from fourth place last week.

This is the first time in 10 months since January this year that Koda has become world No. 1 in women’s golf.

Ataya Titikkun (Thailand), who was in first place, gave Koda first place after two weeks and went down to second place.

Koda had a tough time, such as taking a break from tour activities and receiving treatment for thrombosis earlier this year, but regained the top spot by winning the Pelican Championship on the LPGA Tour, which ended yesterday.

Ko Jin-young, who was in 2nd place, was pushed to 4th place.

Due to a recent wrist injury, Ko Jin-young has participated in 4 LPGA tour events since August, and only missed 3 cuts and a sluggish performance with 1 withdrawal.

The third place is the Korean player Lydia Ko (New Zealand).

In addition to Ko Jin-young, there are three Korean players in the top 10: Jeon In-ji at 8 and Kim Hyo-joo at 9.

Park Min-ji (24), who won the prize money in the 2022 season of the Korean Women’s Professional Golf Tour (KLPGA), jumped from 18th to 12th.

Park Min-ji, who won 6 wins for 2 years in a row on the KLPGA tour and won 2 gold medals in a row, was 14th in the previous personal best.
