Delhi: After the match against Lucknow Supergiants, there is no end to the uproar following the incident. Virat Kohli, Lucknow star Naveen Ul Haq and Lucknow mentor Gautam Gambhir were fined 100 percent of their match fee by the BCCI for misconduct during the IPL match between Lucknow Supergiants and Royal Challengers Bangalore.

According to reports, Kohli will have to pay a fine of Rs 1.07 crore, Gambhir Rs 25 lakh and Naveen Rs 1.8 lakh for violating IPL rules. Now there are reports that Kohli has written a letter to the BCCI officials expressing his utter disappointment in this matter. Reports have emerged that he told Naveen-ul-Haq or Gambhir in the letter that he had done nothing to warrant such a fine.

Kohli also explained the events that happened after the match. Meanwhile, during Lucknow Super Giants’ innings, Virat Kohli got into a verbal altercation with Naveen who was batting and Amit Mishra who was batting with him. When Amit Mishra came in with Kohli, the umpire intervened to calm the scene. Later, while shaking hands with Naveen after the match, Kohli reacted angrily.

When Naveen started to answer this, the players of both the teams intervened and calmed down the scene. It was clear in the video that Kohli was getting angry without any provocation from Naveen’s side. After hearing Kohli’s words, Naveen, who was holding Kohli’s hand for a long time to shake hands, suddenly removed his hand.

After that, while Lucknow star Kyle Myers was talking to Kohli, Lucknow team mentor Gautam Gambhir approached Kohli and took Myers away. After this there was a verbal argument between Kohli and Gambhir and the players of both teams intervened and caught both of them.
