Naver announced on the 28th that it had signed an official sponsorship contract with the Korea Sports Council.
Through this official sponsorship agreement, the Sports Council and Naver will use Naver’s portal service to carry out various marketing activities, such as providing information on the national team. In particular, we plan to create a special page for the Korean athletes participating in the 2022 Winter Olympics in Beijing.
Previously, Naver provided a special page for the 2020 Tokyo Olympics national team, which was held this year, and recorded about 550 million cheering ‘hearts’ and 1.3 million cheering comments.
Cho Yong-man, secretary general of the Korea Sports Council, said, “I am very happy to be able to provide information on the national team through a sponsorship contract with Naver, Korea’s best internet portal service. I expect that both the Korean team and the people will gain strength through the page,” he said.
